Character Oak, Alcove Cabinets

A matching pair of oak cabinets, designed to sit in alcoves each with a matching floating shelf above. This was an elegant and original alternative to fitted cabinetry which our clients were keen to avoid.

Simple in their form these cabinets are all about putting that characterful Grown In Britain Oak front and centre. Very carefully cut and matched boards read beautifully across the surface and showcase the brown oak streaks, caused by fungal invasion in the timber, creating a lovely contrast and two unusual, warm and completely unique pieces.

The Brusso & Croft Hardware was patinated in house to clients spec to match other dark hardware in other furniture.
